Nomi was born the fifth daughter in a musical family of seven. Her early childhood was spent listening to classical music, The Beatles and to four siblings who played guitar (one of whom was a classical guitar prodigy and another who graduated from Berkelee School of Music in Boston). She herself played the cello for four years but was often found turning it on it’s side and pretending it was a guitar. She wrote her first song at eight. She is currently working on finishing her first CD.
